Fantasy Player Values & Point Scoring
Fantasy Cricket players are valued across three disciplines of skill: Batting, Bowling and Wicket Keeping. These three different values are used to determine how much a player will cost to fulfill a particular role within a Fantasy Team.
Batting and Bowling values fall into six different price pools, incrementing from £1,000 to £10,000. Wicket Keeping has five price pool variants, from £1,000 - £8,000. These price values are then distributed amongst the players based largely upon the previous season’s averages, but also factoring in how many games each player is likely to play.
Each type of fantasy playing role accumulates Fantasy Points slightly differently and is priced accordingly, as outlined below:
Batsmen
Batsmen are priced by their batting value alone and can score points for their batting performance, any credited fielding achievements (catches / run outs) and for appearing in a fixture.
All-Rounders
All-Rounders are priced by their batting and bowling values combined and can score points for both their batting and bowling performances, any credited fielding achievements (catches / run outs) and for appearing in a fixture.
Wicket Keepers
Wicket Keepers are priced by their batting and wicket keeper values combined and can score points for their batting performance, any credited fielding (or wicket keeping) achievements (catches / run outs / stumpings), certain wicket keeper only related achievements and for appearing in a fixture.
Bowlers
Bowlers are priced by their bowling value alone and can score points for their bowling performance, any credited fielding achievements (catches / run outs) and for appearing in a fixture.
Fantasy Team Selection
A Fantasy Team comprises 4 × Batsmen, 2 × All-Rounders, 1 × Wicket Keeper and 4 × Bowlers. A fantasy team must constitute 11 individual players, and their total combined value for their respective skill disciplines may not exceed £65,000.
A fantasy team must elect a captain, whose selection may change ahead of each game week, who will be credited double points for each game they appear in throughout their tenure. Please note any negative point scores accumulated by a player standing as captain will also be doubled.
Fantasy Team Transfers
After each game week, Fantasy Team managers will be allowed to make one transfer.
