The wet weather destroyed and hopes of a finally week of cricket this summer.
A interclub game was attempted on Saturday with the Community Corner faced of againsts a Chairmans Crew. The corner batted first with Sparkes retiring on an unbeaten ton as well as several other tidy knocks, seeing the Corner finish 277-6.
Unfortantly, the rain came down harder and saw the chairmans inning end prematurely but not before Harding hit another 50. After 15 overs, with the score 90-1, the match was abandoned.
This ended a very succesfully season due to Stiffkey unfortuantaly calling off on Friday evening.
