Hardingham started there pre season schedule away to Frettenham with a 6 wicket victory. A strong side lead by Chris Sparkes was asked to field first with every bowler having 4 overs a piece to warm up and all bowled well. Wickets were shared about with J Scott, G Harding and M Britten all taking 2 wickets each with T Capper, C Watts, T Grant and S Subedi taking 1 as Frettenham fell all out for 181 with R Broughton, C Wade and R Sanders all getting starts but unable to press on to hit a big score.
In reply, Hardingham started well, putting 70 on for the first wicket before losing skipper C Sparkes for 23. S Palmer continued on with useful knocks around him with J Scott (27) and S Subedi (26*) before being dismissed for 80; a fantastic knock with included 11 fours and 3 sixes. The total was chased in 32.2 overs with the loss of only 4 wickets which were picked up by B Warnes, B Bailey and J O'Beirne with 2 wickets.
Big thanks to Frettenham for hosting us in one of only 4 games that happened in Norfolk on Saturday.
Unfortunatly, the Sunday XI were unable to get a game in due to the adverse weather during the week meaning neither Hardingham nor Aylsham were able to prepare a suitable pitch playable in time.
