A wet weekend ruined any chance of a decent game of cricket with both Saturday teams being abandoned and Sunday being cancelled.
The first were asked to bat but only lasted 26 overs before the weather beat them at Saham Toney. Sparkes and Downes both finished with half century knocks with only Palmer being dismissed.
The seconds bowled first but only lasted a similar number of overs against Downham Stow 'C' before the dull weather ruined the fixture. HCC did pick up one wicket thanks to Grant trapping his adversary LBW.
Sunday didn't see any cricket at all with the fixture against Diss cancelled after some dreadful overnight weather.
