Unfortunalty, Hardingham CC saw no wins this weekend with two losses and an abandonment
The first XI lost by 6 wickets at Narborough First. After winning the toss, HCC struggled with only C.Sparkes (17), J. Downes (10), S. Subedi (25) and G. Pitcher (12) making double figures before slumping to 89ao. Pick of the bowlers for Narborough were D. Cornwall, with figues of 7-2-12-4. Hardingham responded by taking 4 early wickets having Narborough 10/4 before M. Coe and J. Coe took them game away with unbeaten knocks of 44 and 29 respectivly. Josh Downes pick of the bowlers, finishing 10-4-19-4.
The seconds were not able to do much better in terms of result but up a good battle against Narborough 'A'. Batting first, Hardingham were on top with a fantastic opening run partner of 126 between R. Fowle and G. Harding, with both making 50s, Harding's being his first league 50 in mens cricket. Hardingham finished in the strong position 208/4 at innings break. Narborough starting strongly with M. Mayer-Webb scoring a quick 50 to put Narboroughon top. This was supported with knocks from J. Munford (50*), C. Woodbridge (37) and H. Eves (32) which saw Narborough secure victory by 3 wickets.
Won't talk much about the cricket Sunday as the game was abandoned due to a medical emergency but we wish the Bradenham wicket-keeper a speedy recovery.
